For Life (Hulu, 2020-2021)Based on the book by Isaac Wright, Jr. titled "Marked for Life: One Man's Fight for Justice from the Inside", Wright, initially sentenced to life plus 70 years in Trenton State Prison, used the prison library to educate himself in the law and helped overturn the wrongful convictions of dozens of his fellow inmates before ultimately representing himself, proving his own innocence, and bringing down the powerful and corrupt men that had aligned against him. As a paralegal with the Inmate Legal Association, Wright appealed his case and eventually uncovered the smoking gun that unraveled the conspiracy perpetrated by law enforcement officials against him. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson co-directed the series, and had a small supporting role.
