Department of Homeland Security
The United States Department of Homeland Security is the U.S. federal executive department responsible for public security. This includes some citizenship and immigration services.
U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS)
An agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security that administers the country's naturalization and immigration system.
Department of State/State Department
The United States Department of State, or simply the State Department, is an executive department of the U.S. federal government responsible for the country's foreign policy and relations.
Department of Justice/Justice Department
The United States Department of Justice, also known as the Justice Department, is a federal executive department of the United States government tasked with the enforcement of federal law and administration of justice in the United States.
Department of Labor
The United States Department of Labor is one of the executive departments of the U.S. federal government. It is responsible for the administration of federal laws governing occupational safety and health, wage and hour standards, unemployment benefits, reemployment services, and occasionally, economic statistics.

Regulatory Authority: Titles of the CFR Relating to Immigration

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is arranged so that the titles correspond with the United States Code (USC) (Title 6: Domestic Security of the CFR parallels Title 6: Domestic Security of the USC). Federal Agencies, which are established by Congress put forth regulations, which when published in the CFR have the same force as law.
