Computer & Technology Facilities - Printing

Printing

NYLS utilizes a system for networked printing, copying and scanning, using Konica Minolta printers. Jobs are sent from a networked account, and once processed through the network print queue, may be retrieved from any machine on the network.

If you have an Alumni OneCard

You can print the same way you did when you were a student.

From your laptop with Mobility Print installed - send to Student-Print

From a web browser: Log into Outlook in your web browser. Email a PDF file as an attachment to email:nylsuniprint@nyls.edu

If you do not have an Alumni OneCard

You'll need to send your print job  from the Alumni_Access networked account. Go to L208.1 (Multimedia room) and log into either machine using the Alumni_Access account.

Send the print Job: Open an application to send a print job. i.e. Word. Within the application, select File | Print, then select the Student_Print [NYLSPAPERCUT] and click Print.

Retrieve Your Print Job

Your print job has been sent from the linked Alumni account. Please ask at the Circulation Desk for the Alumni print card. Then proceed to one of the Minolta printers:

  • Room L100    2 printers
  • Room L300    1 printer
  • Student Center (5th Floor)    1 printer

Swipe the Alumni card and the print log should open up. You can then select other options and then send your print job. Please return the Alumni card to the Circulation Desk.
