Introduction

Mendik Library participates in the Federal Depository Library program (FDLP).  As a selective government depository, Mendik Library receives approximately 21% of the materials available through the FDLP, which is administered by the Superintendent of Documents of the Government Printing Office.  The New York State Library in Albany is the regional depository for FDLP materials and receives all government documents distributed through the program.

Many of the U.S. documents are received as microfiche and are housed in the microform room on Level L2 of the library.  These items are arranged by Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) classification numbers.  Other FDLP items received in print, as well as all Federal Primary Materials (KF1-KF1499) may also be found on Level L2.

You may search the Mendik Library catalog for government documents by keyword, title, or SuDoc number.

GPO Mobile

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has released its first mobile Web application (app), which provides the public with quick, easy access to information on Members of Congress. Based on the Guide to the House and Senate Members and information in the Congressional Pictorial Directory, the app allows users to browse for Members of Congress by last name, state, chamber, or party. Additionally, users can search by first and last name.

To download the app, point your mobile device's web browser to http://m.gpo.gov/memberguide or use your mobile device to scan this QR code:
